Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you use sociowhale.com or hire SocioWhale for design work. By using the website or approving a quote, you agree to them.
1. Our services
SocioWhale provides branding and identity design, social media design, reels and short-form video editing, YouTube graphics, presentation and deck design, print and advertising design, video invitations and social media management. The scope, price, number of revisions and timeline for each project are set out in the quote or written agreement we send you, which forms part of these terms.
2. Quotes and payment
- Quotes are valid for 14 days unless they say otherwise.
- We may ask for an advance payment before work starts. The amount will be shown in your quote.
- The remaining balance is due on or before final delivery, as stated in your quote or invoice.
- If a payment is late, we may pause work or hold final files until it is received.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give us a clear brief and the content, logos, images and access we need.
- Send feedback on time. Delays in feedback may move delivery dates.
- Make sure you have the right to use any material you give us. You are responsible for any claim that arises from material you supply.
4. Revisions and changes
Each project includes the number of revision rounds stated in your quote. Extra rounds, or changes that go beyond the agreed brief, are charged separately and we will tell you the cost before doing them. See our Refund & Revision Policy.
5. Delivery and approval
We deliver files digitally in the formats agreed in your quote. You should review delivered work and tell us about any issue within 7 days. After that, the work is treated as approved.
6. Ownership and usage rights
- Once you have paid in full, you own the final approved designs we deliver and may use them for your business.
- Drafts, unused concepts and our working methods remain ours unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Stock images, fonts and other third-party assets remain subject to their own licences. We will tell you if a paid licence is needed.
- We may show completed work in our portfolio and social media unless you ask us in writing not to.
7. Confidentiality
We keep your briefs, files and business information confidential and only use them for your project.
8. Cancelling a project
Either of us can cancel a project by writing to the other. You pay for the work completed up to the date of cancellation, in line with our Refund & Revision Policy.
9. Using this website
The content, graphics and design of this website belong to SocioWhale. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission, or use the website in a way that harms it or other users.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and we cannot guarantee specific results such as clicks, sales or rankings.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you approve a quote applies to that project.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where SocioWhale is based, and its courts will deal with any dispute that we cannot settle by talking to each other first.
